Which Class Is Your Vehicle?

If you’re unsure which MOT class applies to your vehicle, here’s a quick guide:

Class 4 – Cars, taxis, and light vans with up to eight passenger seats

Class 5 – Passenger vehicles with more than eight seats, including minibuses and larger people carriers

Class 7 – Goods vehicles between 3,000kg and 3,500kg, including larger commercial vans
